    • Authorize a person and add their material

    A successful authorization records the person's consent, but it does not create any material. Continue with the upload until Codex confirms that at least one photo or video is available.

    Choose where to start

    Authorization and upload

    1. List the authorized people

    Ask Codex to list the people already authorized on your HolyCrab account. If there is more than one page, Codex should continue until the full list has been checked.

    2. Choose a person or create a new authorization

    Select the correct person from the list. If two entries have the same name, review the information shown and choose one yourself. If the person is not listed, tell Codex their name and create a new authorization.

    3. Ask the person to complete it

    Send the private link or QR code only to that person. They must open it on a phone and complete the confirmation themselves.

    4. Confirm the authorization result

    Return to Codex and ask it to check the authorization you just created. If it is still waiting, check again later instead of creating a new one.

    5. Continue by uploading material

    After authorization succeeds, there are still no photos or videos attached. Give Codex the files the person approved and ask it to upload them for that person.

    6. Review and confirm the upload

    Codex will list the person and every selected file. Check the list, then confirm the upload once.

    7. Wait until the material is available

    Processing may take a little time. When Codex confirms that the material is available, you can ask for a generation estimate using it.

    Material and privacy requirements

    • Only upload photos or videos that the person has agreed to provide.
    • Images may be JPG/JPEG, PNG, WEBP, GIF, or HEIC and must be under 30 MiB. Videos may be MP4 or MOV and must not exceed 50 MiB. Audio is not accepted.
    • Keep the private authorization link and QR code between you and the person.
    • Authorization and material upload do not approve a paid generation. Codex must still show an estimate and ask for confirmation.

    If it did not work

    • If authorization is still waiting, failed, or expired, confirm the situation with the person before starting again.
    • If authorization succeeded but no material appears, choose the approved files and continue with the upload.
    • If an upload fails or its result is uncertain, ask Codex to check it before uploading again.
